Worship Team The Primary Mission of the Worship Ministry Team is: to work with the Pastor to ensure that our congregation provides an environment that enhances the worship life of our church; to ensure people develop and strengthen their relationships with God; and thereby live more faithfully as Christian disciples. We hope to provide inspirational music for worship services that glorifies God and meets the needs of the congregation.

Congregational Care Team The Primary Mission of the Congregational Care Ministry Team is: to nurture the membership and constituents of Kennedy First United Methodist Church, help them on their faith journey and encourage participation in the services and ministries of the Church.

Missions Team The Primary Mission of the Missions Team is: to promote awareness for the needs and programs of institutions supported by the Church locally, nationally, and around the world.

Staff-Parish Relations Team The Primary Mission of the Staff Parish Relations Team is: to employ and provide for supervision of staff in order to support the ministries of our church; to make recommendations to the Finance Ministry Team; to work with the Conference and District Superintendent; to provide care and counsel, nurture and support to the pastor and the pastor's family.

Student Team The Primary Mission of the Student Team is: to encourage the spiritual health of our students by directing them according to the Bible and the Kennedy First United Methodist Church structure, vision, and value statements as the Holy Spirit directs.

Finance Team The Primary Mission of the Finance Team is: to oversee the business and financial needs of the church and provide the leadership and guidance in the areas of raising, handling and accounting for the funds provided by the congregation for the programs of the church and the upkeep of the physical structures in which these programs take place.

Evangelism Team The Primary Mission of the Evangelism Team is: to work together with the Spirit, through heartfelt prayers, seeking direction from God, to find ways to reach out in love and gentleness to get the good news of Jesus Christ out to our community.

Adult Team The Primary Mission of the Adult Team is: to honor the Great Commission. This is done through a cycle of experiencing Christ's love and forgiveness, teaching/learning Biblical principals (spiritual growth), and providing opportunities for fellowship and ministry. (Invite, Equip, Send)
We recognize that as people mature they encounter different stages in life, needs and opportunities for spiritual growth. Thus, we must be sensitive to changing ages and stages. We will do our best to employ the resources God gives us. We recognize that everyone is created in God's image and has infinite value to God. We will attempt to be Christ's body in accepting diversity and developing spiritual gifts. We will depend on prayer and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish what God directs.

Memorial Team The Primary Mission of the Memorial Team is: to work together with the Spirit, through heartfelt prayers, seeking direction from God, to find ways to meet the needs of individuals who are giving memorial gifts to the church while providing items and services that enhance our worship experience.

Buildings & Grounds Team The Primary Mission of the Buildings & Grounds Team is: to Maintain all church buildings: church, educational, and parsonage and to maintain grounds around the church.

Hospitality Team The Primary Mission of the Hospitality Team is: to ensure that all who walk through our doors, from longtime members of our congregation to first time visitors, will be welcomed into the fellowship and care of our church family and experience the good news of Jesus Christ so that they will develop a personal relationship with God and live as Christian disciples.

Communications Team The Primary Mission of the Communications Team is: to develop and implement ways to share the word of our Church's good work in our community and to strengthen our church family with timely and inspiring communication.

Membership & Ministry Team The Primary Mission of the Membership & Ministry Team is: to welcome new members by coordinating membership classes. Beyond that, we see our mission as a continuing effort to encourage active participation both in church attendance and involvement in church activities.
